The Venetian Hotel in Sin City is one of the best of its class. It boasts world-class amenities and jaw-dropping Italian architecture. Any one of its towers will ensure an excellent stay for any traveler, but what is the best tower at The Venetian?
The Venetian Tower is best if you want to go somewhere busy with bigger clubs and casinos. The room styles are older, but it’s slightly closer to the Strip and has a food court for inexpensive dining and a poker room. The Palazzo Tower is best if you want larger rooms and a quieter environment.
This article will outline the key similarities and differences between the Venetian and Palazzo Towers. The goal is to help you make an informed decision as to which of the two is best for you.

How To Choose Between the Venetian and Palazzo Tower
The Venetian resort property has three towers:
- The Venetian
- The Palazzo
- Venezia
Venezia is the newest member of this five-star triad. It is far from the action at The Venetian and The Palazzo, making many lose interest in it. However, it’s the quietest of the three, and it’s a decent spot for anyone looking for a more laid-back Vegas experience.
Although I will mention the Venezia throughout this article, my main focus will be on the Venetian and Palazzo towers.
Now, let’s get into vital categories that will determine your decision on where to hang your hat at the Venetian Resort.

Consider the Type of Room You Want: Venetian Hotel vs. Palazzo Hotel
Every room is a suite at the Venetian, Palazzo, and Venezia towers. Suites start at 650 sq ft in The Venetian and Venezia and 750 sq ft at The Palazzo. At the highest level, you can opt for a Chairman Suite that spans 9,000 sq ft and has up to 4 bedrooms. This option is ideal for large groups. The Venetian and Palazzo both have chairman suites.
The Venetian Hotel has some of the most comfortable hotel beds in the world. And when you’re not catching some Z’s, there’s a 20-inch LCD HDTV in the bathroom and at least one or two other TVs in your suite.
In the suite department, the only significant disparity between the Venetian hotel rooms and those in The Palazzo is the size, where the latter emerges victorious. The suites at the Palazzo hotel are also more modern, and you’ll have a better view because this tower is taller than its older sister.
All the other services and amenities are similar in both towers’ suites. However, the more private Venezia tower doesn’t have many services and amenities nearby without walking somewhat of a distance to the main areas of the resort.
If you’re looking for bigger and more modern rooms, the Palazzo wins hands down. If room size doesn’t matter so much to you, consider going with the cheapest option.
Consider the Restaurant Options at Venetian and Palazzo
Both main towers at the Venetian Hotel share many renowned restaurants offering cuisines from around the world. Since the Palazzo and Venetian are close together, you can easily walk between the two if you’re interested in checking out different restaurants. On the other hand, Venezia is a bit further away from these restaurants.
Avoid the Venezia tower if being close to a variety of restaurants is important to you.
Below are some examples of the restaurants to enjoy between the Venezian and Palazzo towers:
- Matteo’s Ristorante Italiano
- BRERA osteria
- LAVO Italian Restaurant.
- Noodle Asia
- TAO Asian Bistro
- SUGARCANE raw bar grill
- Cañonita
- Estiatorio Milos
- Grand Lux Café at The Palazzo and Grand Lux Café at The Venetian
And for guests looking for specific foods by some of the best chefs on the planet:
- Steakhouses: Delmonico Steakhouse, CUT, Majordōmo Meat & Fish.
- Vegetarian and vegan restaurants: Buddy V’s Ristorante, Truth & Tonic Wellness Café, Moon Palace by David Chang.
- Seafood restaurants: Mercato Della Pescheria, Majordōmo Meat & Fish, SUSHISAMBA.
If you’d like to enjoy your meal in your room, some restaurants will be happy to send it to you, tower notwithstanding.

Consider the Spa, Fitness, and Pool Options at Palazzo and Venetian
The Venetian Hotel is home to the Canyon Ranch spa + fitness. Palazzo Tower guests are at a slight disadvantage here; they must make their way to The Venetian Tower to enjoy the potpourri of fitness equipment, spa, and body treatments at Canyon Ranch. So, if these amenities are important to you, consider going with the Venetian tower.
Luxurious pools and pool decks service both main Towers. The recently-renovated pool deck is at The Venetian, and its design draws influences from the Italian Riviera. Three of the four pools on The Venetian side of the aisle are infinity pools.
You can rent a private cabana and a daybed on The Venetian pool deck, whereas, on The Palazzo’s, only the cabana is available. The Venetian pool is generally better for daytime pool parties, so you should choose it if you want to party by the pool during the day!
The Palazzo’s pool deck is a little less spectacular than The Venetian’s, but it’s got something its big sister doesn’t: CAPRI Pool Restaurant & Bar. This pool deck is also open to guests of the Venetian, which may or may not be a plus in your book.
Palazzo and Venetian are interconnected, so you can go to the Palazzo pool from the Venetian.
In general, the pool and spa options are better at the Venetian. However, they are also busier than the pools and other amenities at the Palazzo. If you want a more relaxing and quiet day by the pool, the Palazzo is better.
Consider the Entertainment Options at The Venetian and Palazzo
There’s something for everyone at the Venetian Hotel on the entertainment front. The hotel hosts The Atomic Saloon and The Venetian Theatre, which serve guests staying in both main towers.
The Atomic Saloon features acrobatics, stand-up comedy bits, and aerial stunts. The Venetian Theatre, typically an opera house, also features limited shows by big hitters like Diana Ross, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Chicago.
Some of the entertainment options available to all Venetian Hotel guests include:
- TAO Nightclub and Beach Dayclub (free entry for hotel guests),
- Gondola Rides (we looked into them in this article),
- Bar Luca (at The Palazzo Casino), and
- The Cocktail Collective.
You’ll find an updated breakdown of every night’s shows and entertainment options on the hotel’s events calendar.
When it comes to entertainment, both main towers are good options because no matter which tower you stay in, you can access all the venues, as you are considered a guest of the entire resort property.

Conclusion
You can’t go wrong in your tower selection at the Venetian Hotel. The Venetian and The Palazzo Towers have luxurious rooms, relaxing pools, world-renowned restaurants, and brilliant shows.
If you want to be closer to most of the action and enjoy daytime pool parties, choose The Venetian. If you want bigger room choices and a more relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, the Palazzo is the best option. The Venezia is a good option if you want something a bit more secluded and removed from the action.
